Chordie.io was born from the need to create. In a world that moves fast, where everything feels like it's already been done, crafting unique harmonic compositions becomes harder—especially when you're trying to reinvent the wheel.
Even though music theory is now more accessible than ever, beginners often feel overwhelmed, while experienced musicians can still find themselves creatively blocked.
Chord progressions are the backbone of every song—but not what makes them memorable. Chordie was inspired by watching talented friends struggle to finish tracks because their chords didn't feel fresh enough, and seeing beginners give up too soon because progressions felt too complex to handle.

Keep adding chords until you've created something you love. Shuffle, experiment, or stick to your favorite artist's style.
Export and Create
When you're ready, hit Export. You'll get a MIDI file that you can drop into your favorite DAW — Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, BandLab, and more.
